Artemis Fowl For Harry, Ben, & Tommy ( For St. Patrick's Day!)

Artemis Fowl (new cover)

Who better to write about faeries than an Irish school teacher? Well, Artemis Fowl is not a fairy, but he kidnaps a fairy, Captain Holly  Short of the LEPrecon Unit!  And the adventures begin.

From the prologue:

"How does one describe Artemis Fowl?  Various psychiatrists have tried and failed.  The main problem is Artemis's own intelligence.  He bamboozles every test thrown at him.  He has puzzled the greatest medical minds, and sent many of them gibbering to their own hospitals."

Twelve year old Artemis Fowl's first adventure is an effort to restore his family's fortunes by tricking the little people into giving him their gold.  But this is not a sweet leprechaun story.  Not on your life!  I think you'll really like Artemis Fowl, and maybe he will change his ways and decide to be a "good guy."  Who knows?

This is just the first book in a series of seven.  I've only read the first one and I rather like Holly myself.  Let me know what you think boys.
